Emily Kern is an acoustic singer/songwriter from Northern New Jersey. She grew up with a wide range of musical genres and taught herself how to play the drums and guitar. She then became interested in singing and writing songs over 10 years ago. Starting out at local coffee shops and open mic nights, her passion for playing and writing her own music grew. She’s played hundreds of shows throughout the tri-state area including well-known venues such as Six Flags, The Mexicali Live, and The Stone Pony.

After Emily graduated High School she decided to focus solely on her music and also her brand new photography business. While ecstatic that her new business took off, she was heartbroken that playing shows and writing new songs had slowly died down.

Ready to kickstart her music career again at the beginning of 2020, obviously along with everyone else, her plans were delayed indefinitely. But thankfully her hometown had their inaugural Arts Amble in 2021 and it was Emily’s first time back on the stage and in front of a crowd in years. Now almost exactly a year later, she is back and ready for more!

She has made the decision to start performing and writing music again!
